About the Author

James Kilcullen was born and reared in Ballina, Co Mayo in North-West Ireland.

Although he has lived in Dublin for the past thirty six years he is inspired by some of the wonderful characters, and awesome rugged scenery to be found along the Atlantic seaboard. He still spends some months there each year.

About the Book

The future of the Church rests on the decision of one man.

Pope Pius X111 is dying. A kindly but uninspiring man, elected by default, he left the running of the Church to Secretary of State, Cardinal Enrico Manzu. Manzu is secretly fronting a gigantic money laundering scam – with people outside the Vatican - through IOR accounts with a Swiss bank. When the pope dies the Zurich bank accounts will be frozen. Manzu will have to get a new Pope who will – unwittingly – sign a Power of Attorney, which will enable him to carry on business as usual.
The Church is no longer in crisis, it's in terminal decline. Cardinal Angelo Crosoli of Florence, old and ill, is conscious of the necessity of getting a truly Christian Pope if the Church is to be saved. He knows who he wants, but can he do it?

"Literally Publishing have delivered on every promise they made - better than promised in some instances.  I couldn't ask for more, and am delighted with the way my novel, Scatterlings of Africa has been published - thanks to Andy Hey and Literally Publishing.  They also offer the best Royalty deal that I have seen".
