About the Book

Victor Akinrinmade presents us with a collection of 112 beautifully written poems about love. He gives the reader the impression that all the poems are expressing his love for one lady and how he has gone through his life, lucky enough to have found a soul mate that he has shared intimate and personal moments with.

Some of the poems are uplifting, while others show the narrator's grief and how he feels blue. The reader understands how Victor compares love with a feeling of mourning; how love can make you feel down and alone, yet can also make your emotions soar skywards, evoking a feeling of flying or of being out of control.

As the poems continue they give the feeling of time passing, following the narrator through his life with his one and only love. 'The Time is Ripe' expresses how the time is right to speak, to speak the truth, to talk to your loved one, maybe to blow a kiss.

Each one of the poet's verses gives the reader a hope, that dreams of love and life filled with friendship is achievable to everybody and once these dreams have been realised your journey through life begins in earnest.

Author Testimonials

"Literally Publishing have delivered on every promise they made - better than promised in some instances.  I couldn't ask for more, and am delighted with the way my novel, Scatterlings of Africa has been published - thanks to Andy Hey and Literally Publishing.  They also offer the best Royalty deal that I have seen".
