About the Author

Christina Brett has written several travel articles and short stories before begining her writing career. Her work has appeared in several publications, among them the TWA Ambassador in-flight magazine, the Herald Journal in Logan, Utah, the Lansing Magazine, the Kansas City Review, as well as Harlequin Books. A native of Uruguay, South America, Ms. Brett now lives in Michigan. The book “Old Sins Cast Long Shadows” will become a major motion picture in the fall of 2007

About the Book

Jackie Quaglia's father told her at an early age that their family was in the revenge business, and she was taught to kill without remorse. He wanted her to be the son he never had in order to become the head of a killing empire that extended from coast to coast. Jackie's goal, however, was to leave that life and live like any other normal person, and she began to make her secret plans to escape.
Falling in love was not in her plans, but that gave her a stronger incentive to disappear when she realized that if she stayed with the family she'd never have the type of life she yearned for.
